Two New Stories Published

This weekend, I pulled the trigger and published two new short stories on Amazon.

I have already mentioned their titles and given brief descriptions, but here is a short recap:

Friends Take Care of Friends is a short-short story that I wrote in a few hours one evening at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. I got the idea on the drive up there. Once I got there, I took advantage of having my laptop and internet access to write the story.

The Body of the Crime is a story involving a private investigator and a ghost, set in a fictional seaside resort town.

I hope you read them and enjoy them, dear reader. And, if you enjoy them, please tell your friends about them.

Upcoming Fiction

I have an announcement to make: I have decided to publish two stories on Amazon before the end of the month.

It has been too long since I have publshed anything. Life keeps getting in the way. While I have been working on some things, I haven't really got much published. I do have a book being beta-read (more on that in another post,) and another that is in first draft, but needs an ending.

I have had these stories sitting around for a while, which does me no good. So, before the end of the year, I will publish them both.

One is a flash fiction story entitle Friends Take Care of Friends. The other is a private investigator/ghost story. I won't reveal the title yet, because I may change it.

As for the exact date, I think it will be a few days after Christmas.

Stay tuned.

About me: I have been writing since the early 1980s, ever since discovering a passion for writing during my senior year in High School. My completed writings include novels, short stories, and newspaper articles. I have completed four novels in that time, and have partially completed two others. I have had little success in finding an agent or a publisher for any of my novels, and have recently taken my efforts online. During the years that I have been writing, I have also served my country as a member of the United States Army's Judge Advocate General's Corps. In the last five years, I have been deployed to Army bases in Iraq, Kansas, and Virginia.
